Prospect Caravan Club is a small, friendly club that has been operating since 2001. Membership is open to all types of vans, motorhomes and camper trailers. Families with children are welcome.
Our main objective is to share experiences with people who have a common interest and we do this by attending club rallies. Prospective members (visitors) are welcome to attend up to four rallies, in a six monthly period, as visitors, before making a decision to join the club.
Prospect Caravan Club holds approximately eleven rallies each year, usually every four weeks. Club members are required to attend at least three rallies per ‘club’ year (September to August). Rallies are held on the weekend but the majority of members arrive earlier, Thursday or Friday, and normally stay for an average of four days. Rally locations are usually about 150 to 250 kilometres away, but occasionally can be longer.
Activities at each rally vary, but the common theme is touring the surrounding area, discovering unique and interesting places and also joining in various outdoor games, or indoor activities on some nights.
There are also social events planned between monthly rallies which are optional.
Roving rallies are occasionally held when a trip is organised to move from one location to another. Usually, the members would stay in one location for 2 to 3 days and then move on to explore another area. Members can participate for the whole trip, or choose to either join in, or leave, at different locations.

Pets are also welcome at our rallies however, we would appreciate all members following these simple rules:
- Dogs must be kept on a leash of no longer than 2 metres at all times
- No pets are allowed in any eating areas. This includes 'morning teas' and 'happy hours'
- Owners are responsible for disposing of all pet waste.
